Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh participated  in the ninth session of the World Urban Forum that held in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, and organized by the UN-Habitat in the period between 07-13/02/2018. the event was attended by more than 25000 persons, such as Ministers, Mayors, and World Institutions representatives. Mr. Abu Sneineh was accompanied by Bilal Muhtaseb, the Head of Public Relation at Hebron Municipality.  

In his speech, Mr. Abu Sneineh spoke about Hebron political and economic situations, and the city 's division into two parts, H1 and H2. He underlined the importance of building ties and twinning relations with all cities around the World with a view to exchange experience. then, He called the World Cities to put pressure on the Israeli Occupation to release lands located in C area to expand the  geographic area of the city, which is under the Israeli dominance.  

On the sidelines of the Conference, Mr. Abu Sneineh accompanied by the Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr. Anwar Agha, met with the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur, Mr. Ameen Noor Alddin Abdulaziz, where they discussed the opportunity of building a twinning relationship between the two cities. Mr. Abdulaziz then expressed happiness to promote the ties between the two cities and expressed willingness to support this step.

Thereafter, the Palestinian Ambassador organized an event to gather the Mayor of Hebron with the Palestinian Community  in Kuala Lumpur, where the Mayor briefed them about suffering of Hebron city as a result of the Israeli Occupation and the illegal presence of settlers in its heart.
