Malaysia-  Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, who was accompanied by Bilal Muhtaseb, Head of Public Relation at Hebron Municipality, took part in the World Urban Forum that held in Kuala Lumpur, in the period between 07-14/02/2018. Mr. Abu Sneineh intended to attend the forum to participate in preparing the urban development plan till the year of 2030, and the Participation of Hebron Municipality, is a good opportunity to build cooperation and ties with other municipalities around the World.  

In the Mayor Speech, he spoke about the suffering of Hebron City as a result of the Israeli Occupation and settlers' illegal measures against the innocent civilians, and called the World Cities to visit Hebron to get a first-hand view of the city's situation on the ground. Also, he referred to the illegitimacy of setting up the Local Council for the settlers in the Heart of Hebron City.

On the sidelines of the forum, Mr. Abu Sneineh met with different Mayors from all around the world, where they discussed about the opportunity of building twinning relationships , and to share experiences in different fields.
