    Hebron Mayor briefed representatives of the Turkish and Swiss consulates on the situation in the city of Hebron


    Mayor of Hebron, Tayseer Abu Sneineh, briefed the Turkish Deputy Consul General in Palestine, Eralp Semerci and the Human Security Advisor to the Swiss representative in Palestine, Dominik Heinzer, on the situation in Hebron and discussed ways to promote joint cooperation, during a meeting held at the Municipality of Hebron.                                                        

    After welcoming the guest delegation, Abu Sneineh spoke about the violations of the occupation and its settlers in the city of Hebron, especially in its old town and closed areas, praising the relationship that connects the Turkish and Swiss peoples with the Palestinian people, in addition to their positive positions and advocacy to the Palestinian cause.

    Abu Sneineh added that the municipality is keen to have more cooperation with municipalities and institutions in Turkey and Switzerland to build new relationships with them in order to improve the quality of services that would support the resilience of the Palestinian citizens, especially those who are harassed and violated in the closed areas adjacent to the settlements, explaining the urgent need of the municipality to support a number of infrastructure projects, and to provide a number of modern fire brigades cars.
