Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, briefed a delegation of Romanian Journalists about Hebron city’s situation and the daily suffering of the citizens as a result of the Israeli illegal practices perpetrated against the city and the people. The delegation was accompanied by Eliana Abu Eisheh, a Representative of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.

In the meeting, Mr. Abu Sneineh put lights on the obstacles face the municipality in providing services in areas under the Israeli domainance, and referred to the Israeli barriers in the old city and in areas adjacent to Al Ibrahimi Mosque that obstruct the daily movement of schools’ kids.

Moreover, Mr. Abu Sneineh, spoke about the deep relation and cooperation between many Palestinian and European cities in different aspects of development, which open doors towards implementing vital projects and creating new job opportunities for the Graduates.       

 Thereafter, a discussion was opened to give the journalists chances to ask questions, then, the delegation made a field tour at Hebron City, and visited the Old City and Al Ibrahimi Mosque.
