    Hebron Municipality and TIPH Discuss Opportunity of Implementing Projects


    Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh discussed with the TIPH Head of Mission, Mr. Einar Johnson, the opportunity of implementing several projects that would enhance the living conditions of Hebron Citizens. particularly who live in the Old city, where the TIPH devote most of its annual budget to improve the situation there. 

    Abu Sneineh expressed his happiness for the TIPH approval to support the Project of implementing a Community Center at Jaber Quarter, which was submitted by Hebron Municipality. He  then assured that the municipality is always seeking at providing services to these areas in cooperation with international institutions, adding that the municipality intends to rehabilitate the infrastructure for the old city's streets, with a view to provide the inhabitants a decent living. 

    Mayor Abu Sneineh stressed that the recent Israeli Occupation's illegal decision to establish a Hebron's settlers' affairs council, won't prevent the municipality from serving the citizens of the old city, and won't undermine its authority, the municipality exerts much efforts to revoke this grave decision and still doesn't allow it to go into effect, he added.
