Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, met with the Ambassador of Poland to Palestine, where he briefed her about the  situations of Hebron, and the illegal practices by the Israeli Occupation and settlers that have been committed against the innocent civilians. The meeting was in the attendance of municipal councilors and Mr. Imad Hamdan, the Director of Hebron Rehabilitation Committee.

Moreover, Mr. Abu Sneineh appreciated the role of Poland to support the Palestinian cause, and to support the inscription of Hebron's Old City on the UNESCO's World Heritage- in danger- List. He then added that this inscription will revive the living conditions in the old city, develop the Tourism sector, and attract tourists from around the World to visit it. Thereafter, he discussed about the opportunity of signing twinning agreements between Hebron Municipality and Polish municipalities with a view to share experiences and implement projects that will achieve the public benefit.

On her side, the Ambassador expressed happiness at her visit to Hebron, and underlined the continuous support of Poland to improve the Palestinian economy,  particularly through implementing projects in the Old city of Hebron, for empowering women, and ensuring them a decent living condition.
