Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, and the Head of Mission of Cesvi in Palestine, Mr. Marco Caniato, signed a cooperation agreement in the field of Water, Sanitation and Solid Waste Management, which goes in line with Hebron Strategic Development Plan (SDIP) to enhance the services provided to the citizens.

Mr. Abu Sneineh spoke about the suffering of H2 area and the southern area of the city as a result of lack of water and sewage network, and added that this cooperation will raise the standard of the services offered.

Mr. Caniato expressed his pride to sign this agreement with Hebron Municipality, pointed out the aspiration of Cesvi to achieve the goals pursued of the agreement, and mentioned how much the society will get benefit in the aforementioned fields.  

Under this agreement, Cesvi will cooperate as a partner with Hebron Municipality and help in providing technical assistance, submitting project proposals, and finding donors for projects in water and sanitation field.
