    Hebron Municipality Discuss Running Tel Rumeida Garden with TIPH and ICRC


     The Mayor of Hebron, Eng. Nader Bitar welcomed a delegation that comprised of ICRC, TIPH, and Khalil Al - Rahman Association with a view to discuss running of Tel Rumeida Garden. This Garden has an area of 600 m², and contains a multi-function playground, play equipment for children and other facilities for families.

    During the meeting, Eng. Bitar underlined that implementing this Garden in the heart of Tel Rumaida  is on the top priorities of Hebron Municipality as it is providing opportunities to improve the children quality of life, to let them have fun and develop their self-confidence by spending time in the garden. Eng. Bitar then praised the role of the TIPH as well as  ICRC for their continuous support for the citizens of Hebron.

    On the other side, a representative of the ICRC stressed the importance of this project that aims at alleviating of citizens' suffering particularly who dwell in that area, and at enhancing their living conditions.

    Also, a representative of the TIPH conveyed the regards of the Head of Mission, and expressed happiness for implementing such a project. He affirmed that the TIPH always performs their daily duties near  Tel Rumeida checkpoints and Qurtuba School to get a first-hand view of the situation on the ground.

    The Head of Ibrahim Al - Khalil Association, Dr. Abd Almajeed Alkhatib appreciated the efforts exerted by Hebron Municipality, ICRC and TIPH to implement vital projects in Tel Rumeida where the citizens daily suffer of the illegal and violent practices by the Israeli Occupation and settlers.
