The Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh received a delegation of Temporary International Presence in Hebron TIPH that headed by Mr. Emanuele Pipola, the Deputy Head of Mission. The meeting was in the attendance of Members from Hebron Municipal Council.

The TIPH delegation extended congratulations to Mr. Abu Sneineh for his victory in the municipal  election and for his appointment as the Mayor of Hebron, and wished him every success in his new duties.

Mr. Abu Sneineh touched on the deep ties between Hebron Municipality and local as well as international institutions, and praised the appreciated role of the TIPH in supporting development projects in the city of Hebron. He also referred to obstacles imposed by the Israeli Occupation that obstruct the implementation of vital projects particularly in the Old City and in the Southern Area of the city.

Moreover, the attendees discussed the current mutual projects with the TIPH that aim at enhancing the living conditions of Hebron citizens, then,  Mr. Abu Sneineh asked the TIHP to increase support to other critical projects in Hebron.
