The Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneieneh, met with a delegation of the International committee of the Red Cross ICRC that chaired by Mr. Gerardo Moloeznik, Head of Sub-Delegation South West Bank with a view to discuss opportunities of promoting future cooperation in different fields.

After welcoming the delegation, Mr. Abu Sneineh underlined the continuity of cooperation between the Municipality and the ICRC in providing support  to people who live in the restricted areas and forced to go through Israeli violent practices on daily basis.

Mr. Abu Sneineh praised the efforts of ICRC in supporting development projects in the city, such as the project of Tal Rumaida Garden which aims at  improving  the children quality of life, as they live in areas under the Israeli security control, thus, their efforts in facilitating family visits to prisoners. He also added that the ICRC played a big role in conveying to the World the Palestinian suffering that they endure under the Israeli Occupation.

On the other part, Mr. Moloeznik, thanked the municipality for the continuous cooperation and congratulate the Mayor for winning the election, then, he briefed him about the ICRC mission in the coming period.
