During his visit to Indonesia, Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, signed a twinning agreement with the Municipality of Malang, in the framework of  cooperation in fields of Education, Culture, Tourism , Health, and Sports, as well as, in supporting Hebron and its institutions. Mr. Abu Sneineh was accompanied by Mr. Bilal Muhtaseb, Head of Public Relation at Hebron Municipality, and the meeting was also attended by Palestinian Ambassador to Indonesia.

Moreover, Mr. Abu Sneineh met with many Indonesian official figures, the Indonesian Senate, and the Head of  Brawijaya University, where the  Mayor gave a detailed presentation about the political and economic situation of Palestine, and Hebron condition in particular. He referred to the living and economic condition of Hebron's Old City which suffers of the Israeli illegal practices that impede the free movement of goods and people.

Mr. Abu Sneineh underlined that this agreement will open up new prospects of cooperation between the two sides, especially, in the Education and Tourism Sectors.
