Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, received a Turkish delegation from Konya Municipality specialize in water issues, where Mr. Abu Sneineh briefed them about the different services provided by Hebron Municipality to citizens of Hebron city, and about the water shortage and the need of upgrading the water network in the City. Also they discussed about the opportunity of sharing experiences with a view to solve the water crisis particularly in summer as a result of lack of water quantity allocated to the city of Hebron.

On behalf of the city council and citizens, Mr. Abu Sneineh extended his appreciation to the Turkish government and people for their continuous support to the Palestinian cause in different fields.

The visiting delegation then made a field tour to the Water and Sanitation Department, and to water reservoirs of Hebron Municipality.
