Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh met with a delegation comprised of four Turkish Municipalities. He briefed them about Hebron's Situation, and discussed the opportunity of mutual cooperation and of signing twinning agreements in different aspects of development.

Mr. Abu Sneineh spoke about Hebron's history, and the suffering of the citizens, as a result of the illegal practices by the Israeli Occupation and settlers, particularly against who live in Hebron's Old City. Also, he put lights on the streets and shops that are closed by the Israeli occupation which  obstructing the  life in the southern area of Hebron and in the Old city.   

Moreover, Mr. Abu Sneineh called the Turkish Mayor's to participate in the Turkish day which will be organized by Hebron Municipality after the Holy month of Ramadan, and to exchange experiences with Hebron Municipality in different fields with a view to achieve the public benefit.

On the other part,  the Turkish Mayors expressed happiness for their visit to Palestine particularly to Hebron. They assured the deep Turkish and Palestinian ties, and their continuous support to the Palestinian cause. Then, they promised to convey the reality of what is going on the ground in Palestine and obstacles that face the citizens in Hebron's Old city to their Government.
