Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, met with the new Head of Missions of TIPH in Hebron, Mr. Einar Aas, and his accompanied delegation. This visit was made in the context of strengthening ties and cooperation between Hebron Municipality and TIPH, and with a view to discuss supporting mutual projects.
Mr. Abu Sneineh welcomed the new Head of missions, who assumed his duties in the last September. He assured the importance role played by the TIPH in documenting the violation of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, which go against all international treaties and laws that call for the freedom of movement and worship. Moreover, he put lights on the Israeli constraints that were imposed to obstruct the municipal staff from providing services to citizens in areas under the Israeli control. The opportunity to promote the joint relations between the two sides was also among issued discussed in the meeting.
On the other part, Mr. Aas praised the effective efforts and services of the municipality to enhance the citizens' living conditions, expressing the willingness of the mission to support projects to ensure a decent life for the Palestinian people.
