    Hebron Municipality signs Twinning Agreement with Two Turkish Cities


     The Prime Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Dawud Oglo,  awarded Dr. Daoud Ztari, the Mayor of Hebron, a Liberty Plant for his exerted efforts in covering the needs of Hebron's Citizens, and in confronting of the Israeli practices that have been perpetrated against the innocent civilians. On his turn, the Mayor of Hebron awarded the Prime Minster Oglo a symbolic gift that expressing his gratitude for the Turkey's Government exerted efforts in supporting the Palestinian people and cause , and particularly the inhabitants of Hebron.

    The honoring was on the sidelines of the signing ceremony with municipalities of Bancilar as well as Ki Ci oran. The signing twinning agreements seek to ensure the economic development in the city of Hebron, and to share experiences particularly in infrastructure, health and education projects.
     
    The Prime Minster expressed his happiness to sign such agreements between Palestinian and Turkish cities, and underlined the Turkey's Government support to the Palestinian people with a view to give them the opportunity to create a fully sovereign Palestinian State, and to enhance their living conditions.
     
    On his part, the Mayor Zatari said that the deep ties between the two countries referred to President Abbas's political  trends with all countries of the World. These trends are aiming  towards deep understanding of the Palestinian Cause.
     
    " these agreements are a way to promote and to build cooperation between Hebron and Turkish Cities, and the cooperation on which we seek is targeting   many sectors such as the education, health and infrastructure" added the Mayor.
     
    It is worth mentioning that the signing cermony was also attended by Nabil Marouf, the Palestinian Ambassador to Turkey,  Jalal Rajabi, Member of Hebron's Municipal Council, Yahia Natsheh, Head of Public Relations and Protocol of Hebron Municipality as well as Ibrahim Sharif, Engineer in IT Department .
