    The Department of Planning and Economic Development at the Hebron Municipality office works to pursue development projects with donors as well as to continue to follow the implementation of the Strategic Plan of the Municipality. It has been particularly involved with improving the institutional construction of the Municipality .

    The following are the most important projects that have been pursued:

    1- The Korean Center project, in terms of preparing for the opening and operation of the Center and the development of the action plan to do so.

    2- Implementing local economic development projects which were funded by the UNDP and available through the Ministry of Local Government. These programs equipped local economic development through the development of programs necessary for its operation and citizens' benefits.

    3- Projects to strengthen the capacity of water and sanitation in Hebron, which were funded by the Italian government program (PMSP) and available through the Ministry of Local Government. The projects aims to develop the sector of water and sanitation in the Municipality and within the Hebron governate.

    4- An E-municipality project organized by the Geographic Information Session (GIS), which aims to construct a municipal portal in order to provide remote services.

    5- The projects dealing with the rehabilitation of schools, funded through the International Committee of the Red Cross.

    6- Launching the "the integrity for the poor" project in collaboration with the local institutions of Aman, Areej and Terry.

    7- Follow-up with foreign institutions for international cooperation in Palestine.

    8- Representing the Hebron Municipality at conferences and workshops for local development at home and abroad.

    9- Initiative to create a documentary film about the city of Hebron called "Hebron: history and civilization".
