The central vegetable market is one of the largest businesses organized by the Hebron Municipality office. It helps to serve the citizens with fresh produces, clothes, household items and other materials. It is a marketplace for variety of goods to be sold in bulk to retail vendors. It is one of the largest and strongest daily markets in the local province.

The vegetable market consists of an area of a 10,000 square meters roof in addition to a 12,000 square meters open-market yard. There are approximately 60 stores in the vicinity.
