Mayor Abu Sneineh stressed on his refusal to the Occupation's illegal decision to establish a Hebron's settlers' affairs council , and called all countries around the world to put pressure on the Israeli Occupation to reverse this grave and racial decision.

In the meeting with the Mayor of Samsun Municipality, Mr. Othman Gents, Abu Sneineh underlined that Hebron is the most suffering Palestinian city of the occupation, due to the city division into two parts, the presence of the illegal settlers in the heart of the city, and the Israeli attempts to judaize the Hebron's Old City despite the international decision to inscribing it on the UNESCO's World Heritage List.

Moreover, Mayor of Hebron briefed the delegation about the political situation of Hebron, and expressed gratitude for Turkey's Government and People for their support to the Palestinian cause and people. He referred to the twining agreements between Hebron and many of Turkey's cities, and said that he is looking forward to promoting cooperation and signing a twinning agreement with the Samsun municipality.
