A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to rehabilitate the road that connect between Ein- Sara St. and Al Muqataa St. to become a cultural area, was signed by Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, the Chairman of Youth Council of Hebron Municipality, Rajaee Maswadeh, and the Director of Action Aid in Palestine, Mr. Ibrahim Brigheith . Under this MoU, seats will be installed along the road in addition to establishing a reading nook from the municipality library. The Memorandum was signed in the attendance of Mr. Mahmoud Abu Sbeih, Director of Cultural and Youth Activities Department at Hebron Municipality, Eng. Husam Shweiki, Head of Architecture Section at the municipality, Ms. Amani Mustafa, Head of Programs at the Action Aid in Palestine, as well as Ms. Mai Qaisi the Head of Youth Programs.    

Mr. Abu Sneineh underlined the municipality's keen interest in improving the relation with the donor institutions, and in promoting the role and contribution of young people in all areas of development. He then thanked the Action Aid for their appreciated efforts to support the Youth initiatives. 

On the other part, Mr. Breigheith expressed happiness at signing the MoU, due to the positive results that will be achieved at the cultural level among the youth group. He clarified that supporting such project considered as a part of "  the Civil and political participation of youth in the Governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron" program. This program which is implemented in partnership with the Palestinian Center for Research and Strategic Studies, and the Alternative Information Center, is financed by the Danish Government through the Action Aid- Denmark.

Moreover, Mr. Maswadeh praised the municipal trends to support the youth-led initiatives, through providing centers and activities aim at developing their talents and abilities.
