In the meeting with Middle East Programme Manager of Forward Thinking, Mr. Edward Channer, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, the Mayor of Hebron, underlined that Hebron Municipality provides support to Youth Sector throughout its social facilities,  where it embraces creativity and promotes for the Youth ideas with a view to create job opportunities for them.

During the meeting, Mr. Abu Snieneh spoke about  the effects of Hebron city's division into H1 and H2 on Children and Youth  particularly who dwell in the Southern Area of the city. He added that Hebron Municipality supports youth participation in decision making specially in political and social issues through the Municipal Youth Council , and said that the Municipality is seeking  to involve a group of youths in Hebron Municipality Advisory Council.

Mr. Channer praised the role of Hebron Municipality in paying attention to Youth Sector in the light of lack of supporting youth activities and initiatives in Hebron Governorate in general.

It is worth mentioning that the Institution of Forward Thinking is keen to provide job opportunities for Youth in order to curb unemployment.
