The Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh,  received in his office the Ambassador of Palestine to Senegal, Dr. Safwat Bregheith. This meeting, which was in the attendance of municipal council members and employees, aimed to deepen the Palestinian and Senegalese ties, by promoting mutual cooperation in different areas of development.

Mr. Abu Sneineh underlined that Hebron Municipality is keen to strengthen ties with international parties to convey the critical situation of Palestine, particularly Hebron ,  to worldwide, as well as,  to achieve the public benefit.

Mr. Brigheith congratulated the Mayor for the important success in the election which showed that the people of Hebron gave a clear vote of confidence in the Mayor person by electing him as the new mayor of the city. He also expressed happiness at registering Hebron's Old City and the Ibrahimi Mosque as heritage sites in UNESCO's World Heritage List which  is considered as an affirmation on the cultural Heritage of the City.

 It is worth mentioning that a twinning agreement was signed between the cities of Hebron and Thiés in fields of economic, trading, technology, agriculture, education and others.
