An American Medical Delegation chaired by Ms. Melissa Hopkins, a representative of the National Consortium of Breast Centers, and accompanied by Dr. Jehad Shawer, the Head of Department of Surgery at Al Mezan Specialty Hospital , visited Hebron Municipality and met with the Mayor Tayseer Abu Sneineh to discuss the techniques for early detection of cancer and to discuss the opportunity of qualifying medical personnel.

Mr. Abu Sneineh welcomed the delegation and praised the relation between the people of America and Palestine. He said that Hebron Municipality attaches great importance to patients and seeks to establish a medical centre for early detection of cancer.
