During a tour made in the Old City of Hebron and in areas adjacent to Al Ibrahimi Mosque , the Mayor of Hebron, Mr. Tayseer Abu Sneineh, briefed a Chinese official delegation about the situation of the Old city , and the suffering that the Palestinians who live in those restricted areas are forced to go through on daily basis.

The Mayor Abu Sneineh was accompanied by Mr. Kamal al Hussaini, a Municipal Council Member, and representatives of Ministry of Religious Affairs , of Hebron Governorate, of Hebron Rehabilitation Committee, of Hebron Directorate for Religious Affairs , and other officials in the Old City.

 Mr. Abu Sneineh then spoke about Al-Shuhada Street which was closed down and denied to Palestinians following the Ibrahimi Massacre  in 1994, and so, hundreds of Palestinian shops  along the road have been also closed and evacuated that led to deteriorate the economic condition.
